An iconic location formerly located in what is now known as Bronzeville, it hosted some of the best talent the world had to offer including: Jimmy Smith; Grover Washington Jr.; Earl Klugh; Jimmy McGriff; Groove Holmes; Monte Alexander; Nancy Wilson; Jeannette Williams; Mary McClendon; Foley; Bobby Floyd & so many more! This EP captures all the smoke that was this surprisingly acoustic haven, no, sanctuary for great music.
The albom features Bobby Floyd (organ); Keven Turner (guitar); Mary McClendon (Vocals); Steve ‘Paco’ Greer (percussion); Bryan Olsheski (sax); & Jimmi Love (drums & harmonica). One of the bands that actually performed in this iconic venue, they have recaptured that feeling that made people visit, time and time again.
